Sorry if this is in the wrong place - wasn't sure where to put it.
Fresh install of Odin 6. Going through Settings and it locks up. Restarted, and now it hangs at the initial login - the initial login that is supposed to happen automatically before Pantheon starts up, the one that's still at a command line with the computer name in it.

I tried the first listing on GRUB like always, and then I tried all the other Elementary options and all came to the same result.

Is there a way to fix this, as it looks like just a scripting issue? Or do I need to reinstall? I'm only about a day in, so reinstallation is not too big of a deal. Thanks for your help.

Oh, and also I can boot the Kubuntu or the elementary OS Live iso's - they're both already made. I have my phone to download stuff (what I'm on right now) or I can take the desktop into the living room and connect directly to the router. There are other computers in the house that I have access to, so I can get other tools if necessary, I just don't know where to go.

    Thanks again.

    So it locks up randomly?
Try booting your kernel without quiet splash (press e on GRUB screen) and add noapic noacpi irqpoll nomodeset then press F10 or Ctrl X to boot.
If no locks up, then upgrade your kernel to 5.15 and reboot.
