    Hey all,

yesterday I've setup my notebook with the latest elementaryOS and I'm very happy with it apart from one thing.

Given that my notebook's battery isn't the best I was a great fan of the "system cooling policy" in win10 which basically allowed me to disable the active cooling (= less battery consumption) when running on battery power (https://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/activate-or-deactivate-system-cooling-policy-in-windows-10.html).

So far I have not been able to find an equivalent to this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Open advanced power plan settings. Expand open the following tree: Processor power management \ System cooling policy. For Plugged-in, select Active or Passive in the drop down list for what you want.
